Eggs will hatch on their own (provided they make it to that point, generally the 1st clutch is no good or weak at best). Not sure on hatch time for your clowns, but I would guess 7-14 days. Eggs will hatch and get filtered out or consumed by the livestock.

But in my tank anyway, the eggs stay there and hatch. But they do look like they are eating them. That’s a good point.
