WebPhalaenopsis Flower Missing the Labellum. My Mom won a generic Phalaenopsis hybrid from Westerlay Orchids at the Santa Barbara International Orchid Show last month. I noticed that one of the flowers appears to be completely missing a labellum. I did not notice any mechanical damage per the attached photos. It seems that it did not develop at all.
