Measure the blade, sand and measure again. To confirm its good put the piston with rings into the bore and install the rave.

I like to take the flywheel and run it over the wire brush wheel on my grinder. Gets the whole outer flywheel surface shiney clean. This may be overkill, but it won't hurt anything.
